Sarah Bird's Contributions to AAS Meetings!

As a Ph.D. student in 2013, I attended my second AAS meeting in Long Beach, California and gave an oral presentation about
the halo of NGC 5128.

Sarah Bird's First AAS Meeting!

Funded by the Wyoming REU program, all the participants were able to attend the American Astronomical Society's 211th Meeting in Austin, TX during 7-11 January 2008. This was my first AAS Meeting and I thoroughly enjoyed it. First of all, I was excited to be reunited with the Summer REU team. I was able to meet many new people (researchers, professors, students, and others interested in astronomy). There were many talks to listen to and many posters to view every day.
Below is the poster my partner Georgi Chunev and I presented under the category of circumstellar disks. Please enjoy the large picture and view all the detail.
